Bob Laughrea here to introduce you to Generis Collective – our new name, brand, and business model.

LOC Associates was founded in 2015 by a group of talented people working together in real estate development. Inspired by years working for themed entertainment and retail visionaries, LOC’s mission was to harness the skills of all our talented colleagues (project managers, designers, architects, engineers) to produce an offering that would allow brands to outsource their property development needs. We have had the honor to work with many amazingly creative and innovative brands over the past six years.

At Generis Collective, we work with entertainment, retail, hospitality and healthcare clients to innovate their guest experience, while streamlining buildout logistics.

Unlike owner’s representative or construction management firms, we curate a cohesive team of industry experts to develop a program from ideation through implementation. We function as a single point of contact – no need for multiple contracts. Our motivation for this new name and business methodology was born of an obvious need in the commercial property development industry for a more comprehensive approach to project management – one that included ownership of design visioning all the way through to turnover.

In the wake of a challenging couple years, as the world reopens and rebuilds, we’re filled with a renewed energy. We know things have changed, and in many cases needed to, but the slow return to human interaction, to social experiences, to arts and culture and innovation is a welcome sight.
